Imagine stepping into an old bakery, its walls still whispering stories of the past, now transformed into an art gallery. In this exhibition, I joined 9 other artists to respond to the building’s history and the everyday objects that fill our lives. One room became a playground for imagination, where visitors gave voices to things like knives and matches by writing messages on postcards. It was a truly collaborative piece, blending art, history, and human creativity. I had the joy of collaborating with photographer Ilias De Quidt, and the whole experience was covered in local newspapers—a lovely surprise!

A Thick Little Piece of Paper
Ytterjärna, Sweden | 2019
Over 10 months, I got to know 30 incredible individuals—strangers who became friends. This exhibition was my attempt to capture their essence through sketches, paintings, and poetry on postcards. Visitors were invited to guess which artwork represented which person, creating a deeply emotional and interactive experience. The most beautiful moment? Seeing tears of happiness in people’s eyes as they felt seen and understood through the art. It reminded me how powerful connection can be.
Life goes like this
The Netherlands | 2020
Life is messy, unpredictable, and beautifully complex. This wall installation was my way of exploring how we plan for a straight path from point A to B, but life often takes us on unexpected detours. Through scribbles and a written conversation on the wall, I invited viewers to reflect on their own journeys—where they’ve been, where they’re going, and how the twists and turns have shaped them. It was a space for introspection, connection, and embracing the beauty of life’s chaos.
